1. Introduction
Welcome to Calendrian. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights.
2. The Data We Collect
We collect minimal data to provide our service while maintaining absolute privacy:
- Google Account Information: We use OAuth to access your Google Calendar. Your email and Refresh Token are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
- Temporary Recipient Data: For instant blasts, recipient emails are processed "on-the-fly" and never touch our database. They exist only in memory during the operation.
- Scheduled Event Data: For premium users, scheduled recipient lists are encrypted and stored temporarily. They are automatically and permanently deleted from our database daily at 11 PM after delivery.
- Usage Analytics: We use Umami for privacy-focused, cookieless tracking of anonymous usage to improve the app.
3. Local-First Architecture
Calendrian is built with a "local-first" philosophy. Your primary identity is managed via unique cryptographic keys stored in your browser's local storage. Your Google credentials never reside in our database. When an action is required, the token is transmitted via a secure, encrypted connection to our API strictly for the duration of the request.
4. Third-Party Services
Our service interacts with:
- Google Calendar API: To create and manage calendar events.
- Umami Analytics: For privacy-friendly, cookieless tracking of application usage.
5. Your Rights
You can disconnect your Google Account at any time by clicking the "Disconnect" button on the homepage, which will clear all credentials from your local storage.
